I have heard that West Virginia needed help, So here I am. I graduated with Honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I then matriculated to Northwestern University Medical School where I served in the Student Senate. I did my internship in internal medicine and did my residency at New York Medical College where I became the Chief resident. As a resident I set a record for most number of procedures performed. Interestingly, I was in NYC on September 11, 2001. You can search my articles I have written on the World Trade Center Disaster. Later I did a fellowship specializing in Cornea, External Diseases and Refractive Surgery at the Corneal Associates of New Jersey affiliated with Mount Sinai.

I then spent time in New York City working for Diamond Vision a lasik center taking care of many celebrities. I worked at all the sites in the tristate area and was appointed the medical director of all the lasik centers. I also served as Adjunct Professor in Ophthalmology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary

It’s been a long journey. Later worked at the Azar Eye Institute where I became partner and we formed Delmarva Eye Surgeons.

2015 I met with Dr. Fung for succession planning to take over his busy practice. He had been looking for a worthy successor for many years and felt he had found that in me. He felt content in his working with me that I would take care of his patients. 2016 I founded United Hospital Center Ophthalmology. In 2020 we are planning to create a multi specialty center to better serve the needs of the community to help with the patient’s commmute.
